CBS 46 News Anchor States On Air:

“It’s strange that (Bartow County Animal Control) wouldn’t have social media in place already.”

In Response to Natalie Rubino’s Comment:

“The assistant director at Bartow County Animal Control tells us they are looking into creating a website or Facebook page where they could post pictures of stray animals that they receive.”

That’s Just The Tip of The Strange Iceberg

Not having a website to post pictures of stray animals received is just the tip of the strange iceberg for what they are not doing in Bartow County.

CBS 46 News reports on a Bartow Family’s Story.

The family dog has gone missing. They look everywhere.

They call, post, place signs.

A frequent problem in Bartow County as they don’t tell the public what’s happening at Animal Control.

It’s Bartow County’s Dirty Little Secret.

The Family Finds Out…

Their dog WAS at Bartow Animal Control. The Shelter confirms.

Tells the family to pick up on Monday.

But when they get to BCAC Monday morning…It’s closed.

And, on Tuesday, when they return for their beloved family member…

The pet is no longer there.

It has been transferred to the very organization that is responsible for providing this service to the community.

And…

They won’t give the pet back…

Without an adoption payment of $199.
